Step Up Aviation LLC is a full-service aircraft club and flight school located at Austin Bergstrom airport.  We are your simple and affordable alternative to aircraft ownership.  We take care of the hassles, so you can enjoy flying.

We have multiple levels of membership, each providing different levels of privileges and pricing. Most levels of membership provide you with access to our entire fleet of aircraft, as far as you are qualified. Members can use the planes for any non-commercial use. Further training toward endorsements and certifications, such as tailwheel signoffs and instrument ratings are allowed and encouraged.

The number of members per aircraft will be limited to a level which will allow everyone to have good access to the planes. Unlike a traditional flight school, we won't be flying our planes so much that members will not be able to schedule flights when desired.  Now that we also offer flight training, we have structured things so that we can meet the needs of both students and other aircraft users.

Of course, in any shared aircraft plan, there will be some conflicts, but we will work to keep those to a minimum.  And we are full-service.  You will not need to waste extra time to check numbers, fuel and oil, and to wait for the fuel truck. All of these things will be completed before you arrive. All you need to do is preflight, get in and fly.

An aircraft club is about sharing costs. In our plan, it is also about sharing rewards and saving money. One way you can save is by paying ahead. Also, we charge by tach time when possible instead of hobbs time, so if you fly slower and more gently the charges are lower. Since you are putting less wear on the plane you share in the savings. As we all know, fuel is expensive at AUS, and since the planes are rented wet, these costs are reflected in the hourly prices. But if you are able to help us by fueling at cheaper airports, we not only will reimburse you for the fuel costs, but part of the additional savings as well. When you add all this up, you'll find out we're more affordable than you think!

Our goal is to provide a diverse fleet of aircraft, maintained to a high standard. This will enable you as a pilot to comfortably and without worry fly what you are qualified for today, and to be able to step up to other aircraft as your skills and experience increase. As you continue to grow, we will continue to grow our fleet as well, providing more options for the future. We will add aircraft with more utility, and some with more fun and uniqueness factors as well.
